Alaskan Cruise

11 of us drove up in a 15 passenger van to Seattle for Joshua's sister's open house and then for our cruise departure.

First stop Seattle:

Glacier Bay:


This was one of the glaciers our ship drove by-our camera battery ran out so we missed pictures of the one that calved-it was pretty cool to watch.

Juneau, Alaska:



In Juneau we took floatplane and flew over some glaciers



Joshua got to ride next to the pilot-he had a great view



The water that was pooled on the glaciers was incredibly blue. The pictures don't really do it justice.
In Juneau we also had a walk around town and tried our hand at gold panning.

Sitka:



In Sitka we took a boat ride out to an island and then took an ATV ride around it



Everything was covered in mossy green





After the ATV ride we visited a raptor center and were able to see eagls, hawks, owls, and others up close.

Ketchikan:





In Ketchikan we got aboard a crab boat-it was shown on "The Deadliest Catch"

In Victoria our visit to the Butcchart Gardens got canceled so we walked around and enjoyed a city park and the fisherman's wharf

It's a Boy!

We're pretty excited to announce our baby will be a little boy-we haven't a name picked out yet, but are starting preparations for a little guy.

Joshua's sister got married April 29. I made a dress for the wedding and to wear on our Alaskan cruise.

I'm back in school. . .
So far it's been crazy-I'm always super busy, and never get everything accomplished that I think I need to. I'm really enjoying a few of my classes-anatomy, but I'm not sure how I'll ever remember everything I've read and everything that has been presented.
Not much has been going on besides school, however for Martin Luther King Day weekend I did go up to Heber and spent some time with my friend Brady. We played and of course didn't finish all of the extra homework that seems to be given over an extra long weekend.
A few weekends ago I went down to Arizona with the fam to see Connie off, and last weekend I went up to Heath and Steph's with Kelly to watch Hailee and Spencer while they attended a Jazz game. Hailee and Spencer were so cute!
Wednesday night I got to go to the Draper Temple Open House-it was beautiful, and they had some pretty amazing cookies as refreshments also.
I also went to Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story(they were together) Friday night as homework for my ballet class. I got a discounted ticket because of my membership in ballet club and a meal. I enjoyed the show, but it really made me miss performing in my own.
Yesterday morning I went to ballet class(ballet club holds ballet classes every Saturday morning), it was really good-although I feel like I may never get back to where I used to be dancing, I was pretty slow and sloppy. I'll need to build back up some of that muscle and flexibility. And I'm super sore!
Yesterday evening I went to BYU's last home game of the season against Air Force-we won, and we won our conferences championship for the third time in a row. It was a pretty exciting game-we didn't ever hold a strong lead during the game and just pulled ahead at the end.

Life as I know it

Sorry it's been forever-things get really busy, and then I don't end up blogging enough to keep you all really updated. I don't have a ton of time to write about everything, so this will probably be mostly a picture blog.

Also for the month of Novemeber Jessica's family always does a thankful calendar, so our apartment had one this year!

I went home for Thanksgiving, but my batteries in my camera had been dead for a while, so no pictures from that, plus most of you were there. It was fun to see everyone, and dinner was really good. Since I've been back in Provo I went down to Heath and Steph's for a weekend, and saw them!That same weekend when I got back to Provo some of my friends and I made graham cracker temples. I had talked about making gingerbread houses, and how fun it would be, and Jeremy decided that was a pretty good idea, and got some graham crackers and this is them:

Mine and Brady's won the contest.
Besides the fun things-which seems to be what I get pictures of life consists of school and studying, so really just school I guess. I've had two finals, and I've got four more coming this next week, so wish me luck! Anyway I love you all, and will see you at Christmas time!

Final Test!

Hey guys!
So this week I had my last test, well I actually had two tests, but now until finals I'm done with tests! I've got three papers still due. . .
My tests this week went well-ish, I did pretty good, I'm hoping for a slightly better grade with the curve, and it sounds as if I may be getting that.
This week has been pretty eventful. For Family Home Evening my group went to Brother Jones' home(he's in the bishopric in my ward) and played some games and ate homemade ice cream. I also went out for ice cream at SubZero this week-it was for an extra credit Chemistry assignment.
Tuesday was our friend Jake's birthday-we made him a giant card and had a bunch of people sign it, we were also going to make him a cake-but that didn't get done until Thursday. His cake turned out pretty awesome though. Jake is going to the Philippines on his mission speaking Tagalog. So Jessica and I talked to one of our friends who came back from the Philippines this summer and found out what a missionary name tag would look like and made our cake that way. I forgot to take a picture of it, and there won't be any pictures in this post anyhow, because Jessica borrowed my camera to take to Dance Sport tonight-my pictures wouldn't have been too exciting anyway.
Wednesday after classes I went to watch, "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" for American Heritage. It's a pretty good movie-I'd seen it before. It put me a little to late to catch the last bus home for the night, so I called "Safe Walk." I walked about halfway home with a policewoman, and then a policeman picked us up and drove me the rest of the way home.
Friday I went to my first BYU Basketball game-we played Long Beach State and won 75 to 65! It was pretty awesome. Samuel Villarreal also came down from Logan and watched the game with a bunch of us. Then we hung out at our place and watched a few episodes of Psych.
Today has been pretty fun-I went rollerskating this morning with my ward, and almost went swimming tonight, but I didn't really want to be the only girl there.
Besides all that I signed up for classes for next semester-it looks crazy.
Well I should get back to my homework before I get too distracted here-I love y'all!
